Early life . . .

Lynne Schultz Gobioff grew up in a tiny town right outside of New York City called College Point, a unique dog-shaped peninsula that sits across from Manhattan with only 4 roads bringing you in and out of town. As a young girl Lynne started rescuing animals, picking up injured birds in the yard and nursing them back to health with her grandmother.

Lynne graduated from Antioch University with her Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature. She then went on to study at the Vermont College of Fine Arts and graduated with her Master of Fine Arts in Children's Literature.
