
Ringling Brothers announced ridding their circus of elephants by 2018.
I ask why not today?
In an interview, Kevin Field, owner of Ringling testified during a trail about the elephant's importance to the show -,
"The symbol of the 'Greatest Show on Earth' is the elephant, and that's what we've been known for throughout the world for more than a hundred years." Well, Kevin, the world's changed in a 100 years and its about time your organization understands the only place for wild animals is in the wild, where they belong. And while this is a victory for elephants, Field Entertainment has not yet agreed to rid their show of animals entirely.
